The Orchid Room is a vintage tea room tucked inside an antiques arcade on Northdown Road, Margate — and there is nowhere quite like it in Thanet.

The space is built around a stunning Edwardian pub bar, draped in fairy lights and surrounded by ornate antique mirrors, original artwork and Victorian furniture. Deep magenta walls, cascading ceiling lanterns and candlelit tables give the room a theatrical, otherworldly atmosphere that translates directly onto camera.
