About This Space
Some houses are decorated. The Peacock House is curated. This is the home of a working professional photographer, and it shows in every room: mid-century furniture, layered textiles, deep green walls and more houseplants than you can count, all arranged by someone who understands exactly how a space reads on camera.
Three distinct areas are available to book. The double sitting room is the showpiece, with white painted floorboards, kilim rugs, a rattan peacock chair, a vintage cane screen and walls in rich green. It photographs like a 1970s editorial spread and is reached through a clean white hallway that doubles as a natural changing or prep space.
The kitchen and sunroom downstairs is the counterpoint: a bright modern extension with a skylight, full-width glazed doors, a marble-topped island, a pine dresser stacked with ceramics and a striking navy face-print feature wall around the range cooker. Light pours through it for most of the day. Beyond the doors, the decked patio and garden give you an outdoor option with bistro furniture and established greenery.
The house sits in Cliftonville, right next to Dane Park and a short walk from Margate Old Town, which makes it easy to pair an indoor shoot with park or seafront content on the same booking.
The variety matters. A single booking gets you a moody mid-century interior, a light-filled contemporary kitchen and an outdoor space, which would normally take three separate locations.
The Peacock House is a lived-in family home, so bookings run on an enquiry form rather than instant checkout. Send your date, hours and a short note on what you are shooting, and availability is confirmed with you directly. A minimum of 48 hours notice is needed for all bookings.
As with every space on Creator Spots, there are no booking fees for creators.
From £60 per hour.
Best suited to: fashion and portrait shoots, interiors and lifestyle UGC, product photography, brand content that wants a real home rather than a set, and video that needs varied backdrops in one location.
